Another tip for something different. This beach is located near Agaete in a valley called Guayedra. Black sand and nude dogs running around are a great alternative for “tranquilidad” in the western part of Gran Canaria.

Access is a bit more difficult. It would be best if you went 1km on a gravel road and then 15 min a little hike, but it is worth it.

After the swim, we recommend stopping by in restaurant Los Almácigos Restaurant for a fantastic late lunch/early dinner. Almost all food comes from its sources. For weekends we recommend calling and booking a table.

Originally from the Czech Republic, he studied motorcycle mechanics and worked in track racing, eventually running a community website. Ondrej speaks Czech, English, and Spanish.
